This entry-level IP-type model of our COMfortel range is a genuine standard SIP phone which offers its comfort functions simply via SIP: the status of other subscribers is indicated with BLF (Busy Lamp Field), new voicemail messages with MWI (Message Waiting Indication). The COMfortel 1200 IP can be attached to an IP-type Auerswald PBX system as well as to a Soft PBX or IP-Centrex solution from various manufacturers and providers.

Even though it’s the most basic of our IP phone range, the level of operating comfort is striking: the cross-shaped touch pad lets you intuitively navigate through the clearly structured menus, all vital information is presented in black and white on the illuminated graphic display. Ten programmable keys, each equipped with a multi-coloured LED signalling the status of the respective task, let you control various SIP functions.

Thanks to VLAN and SIPS, a safe connection to the network and tap-proof communication are the least you can expect from the COMfortel 1200 IP. When serving as an exterior extension, it can be easily tied to the main office via VPN. This allows you direct access to the central phonebook from outside via LDAP.

The COMfortel 1200 IP’s cabinet is very accomodating in helping you find the right position: For an optimum tilt angle on your desk, you can easily rearrange the feet. Or simply mount it on the wall which seems a perfect place when used in a hotel or a busy workshop.
